Attendee Information Sharing Policy for Sponsored Events

As a part of our commitment to fostering a collaborative and engaging environment for our members and participants, the ISC2 Charlotte Metro Chapter occasionally hosts events sponsored by third-party vendors. In order to provide you with relevant resources and support, we would like to inform you of the following:
 

Sharing of Information with Event Sponsors
By registering and attending a vendor-sponsored event organized by the ISC2 Charlotte Metro Chapter, you acknowledge and consent to the possibility that your name and/or email address may be shared with the event sponsor(s). This is done to facilitate networking opportunities and to provide access to additional resources offered by our sponsors.

What Information is Shared?

• Your name

• Your email address

Why is Information Shared?
The information shared with our event sponsor(s) is intended to:

• Help enhance your experience and provide you with additional resources related to the event topic.

• Facilitate post-event engagement, including follow-up communications and access to sponsor materials.

 

How Your Information is Protected
We value your privacy and take care to only partner with reputable vendors who agree to use your information responsibly and solely for purposes related to their sponsored event. Your information will not be sold or used for purposes outside the event context.

 

Opt-Out Option
If you do not wish for your information to be shared with the event sponsor, please notify us in writing before the event by contacting our Chapter at president@charlottemetroisc2.org. We will respect your preference and ensure your details are excluded from the shared list.
