Officers and Committees
The strength of the ISC2 Charlotte Metro Chapter is rooted in the dedication and leadership of our officers and committee members. Each officer and committee plays a unique role in driving the chapter’s mission forward, from planning educational events and managing member engagement to promoting cybersecurity awareness and fostering community outreach.

Our officers serve as the guiding force for strategic decisions, and our committee members bring those plans to life through hands-on efforts in various areas such as membership development, event planning, marketing, and professional growth initiatives.

Interested in Leadership?
If you’re passionate about making a difference and wish to take on a leadership role, we welcome you to explore these opportunities. In March 2025, we’ll be holding elections for the positions of Membership Co-Chairs and Treasurer, giving members the chance to lead and enhance our chapter's impact. Taking on a leadership role is a rewarding way to contribute to the cybersecurity community while developing your own professional skills.
Our Committees Include:
-
Membership Committee: Focuses on member recruitment, engagement, and retention.
-
Events Committee: Organizes a variety of events to engage and educate our members.
-
Marketing Committee: Manages the chapter’s messaging, digital presence, and member communications.
-
Sponsorship and Partnerships Committee: Develops relationships with local businesses and secures sponsorships to support chapter activities.
We invite you to learn more about each committee and role to see where you can contribute your talents to support and grow our chapter. Together, our team’s collective efforts drive our success as we build a strong, connected cybersecurity community in Charlotte.
