A Letter from the President
Dear ISC2 Charlotte Metro Chapter Members and Friends,

As we close the chapter on 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has truly been a year of growth, resilience, and community for the ISC2 Charlotte Metro Chapter.

This past year, our chapter continued to strengthen its foundation—expanding professional development opportunities, deepening partnerships, and creating spaces where cybersecurity professionals at every stage of their journey could learn, connect, and lead. From engaging monthly meetings and impactful community initiatives to meaningful conversations around emerging risks, leadership, and innovation, 2025 reminded us of the power of a committed and collaborative community.

None of this would have been possible without our dedicated volunteers, speakers, sponsors, and members. Your willingness to show up, share knowledge, mentor others, and give back to the community is what makes this chapter thrive. Your contributions go far beyond events—they help shape a stronger, more connected cybersecurity ecosystem in the Charlotte region.

As we look ahead to 2026, I am incredibly optimistic. The coming year presents new opportunities to expand our programming, strengthen cross-community partnerships, invest in professional growth, and continue fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for our members. We remain focused on delivering relevant, high-quality content while creating opportunities for leadership, service, and connection.

Thank you for being part of this journey. I look forward to continuing to build, grow, and lead alongside you in the year ahead.

Here’s to a successful, impactful, and inspiring 2026.

With gratitude and optimism,
LaToya Workman
President, ISC2 Charlotte Metro Chapter
