Last night (April 16th), the ISC2 Charlotte Metro Chapter came together for another great monthly event — and it did not disappoint.
A few highlights:
Rubrik kicked off the discussion with a timely look at Agentic AI and how AI agents have emerged as a new threat vector. If you're in cybersecurity and haven't started thinking about this yet, the clock is ticking.
OpenText gave us an introduction to their team and dropped some exclusive hints about next month's guest speaker. Stay tuned.
Our keynote came from Dr. Pravi Devineni, who did an outstanding job breaking down the who, when, and why of AI adoption. One line that stuck with me:"AI is Math, not Magic."
And the community continues to grow:• 2 members earned new certifications this month• 5 new members joined the chapter
This is why showing up matters. Every month, this group gets sharper — and so does the conversation around protecting what matters most.
If you're a cybersecurity professional in the Charlotte area and haven't connected with the ISC2 Charlotte Metro Chapter yet, now is a great time.
